Early morning is best for grand views on your way up to Wartook Lookout.
At intersection with Chatoqua Loop Trail you have three options:
- Continue straight to Chatoqua peak for grand views (20-30 minutes return). Highly Recommended.
- Turn east (left) to follow GPT and if plenty of water was present in the creeks your crossed in the forest. Walk little detour to Clematis Falls (200m return). Spectacular with plenty of water.
- Otherwise turn west (right) to follow more scenic trail to Halls Gap via Bullaces Glen and Venus Baths.

Take C222 towards Horsham. Follow signs to Boroka Lookout. Continue along (unpaved) Mt Difficult Rd to Wartook Lookout trailhead.
Consider a one-car shuffle: one person walking uphill, while the other one drives the car to the trailhead and walks downhill. Meet in the middle, swap keys and later meet in a cafe in Halls Gap.
