I recommend the described direction, because the buses are less frequent than the subway.
Option 1 (recommended): Take bus 59, e.g. from "Miziya" subway station, and get off at "Kamping Cherniya kos" station. Bus 59 is every 20-30 min, but make sure you check the schedule (https://www.sofiatraffic.bg/en/transport/schedules).
Option 2: Take bus 103 to "V.Z. Lyulin" bus station (the route passes through there), but note its overly sparse schedule and check it beforehand (https://www.sofiatraffic.bg/en/transport/schedules). This is the shortest variation.
Option 3: If you don't want to depend that much on a bus and don't mind walking a bit longer, consider this route instead: https://out.ac/IGOeNA
