Turn-by-turn directions
The starting point of the pleasure tour is the Wiesensteig portal at the hiking car park "Weiherplatz" in Bad Peterstal-Griesbach (Bad Griesbach district, towards Höhengasthaus Herbstwasen). The path initially leads a few meters down from the Weiherplatz parking lot to the pond. There you hike to the right at the footbridge of the old pond, along the Wild Rench, past small waterfalls and idyllic resting places, up to the Fischfelsenhütte. The path now meanders through the forest, a wonderful source of shade in summer, all the way to the "Renchtalhütte", which invites hikers to rest. A wonderful view of the surroundings opens up on the cozy terrace. It then continues above the animal enclosure
