This route passes through an inaccessible area and is therefore closed. Current information
The trail begins with a winding grass path that will lead you past a ski jump to the 'St. Antonius-Kapelle', a beautiful chapelle settled at Kapellen hill. Continuing along grassy slopes you will pass a former popular health clinic in the village of St. Anna.
Next you will pass the 'Pionierbrunnen', a well with fresh spring water.
The path now leads you into the forest past moss covered rocks and rough rock formations until you reach the 'Magdalenenfelsen' (Magdalenen rock).
A great opportunity to cool-down is offered by a Kneipp water-treading basin where you can relax and bathe your feet before following the zigzag path down into the village center and back to the start.

Turn-by-turn directions
We now follow a meadow path again, leading left, below the ski jump, past a playground to the St. Antonius chapel. A small gravel path leads us back down to the former spa clinic St. Anna.
Here we cross the road to the Pionierbrunnen and walk left through light forests to the Magdalenenfelsen, a small rocky outcrop. The bench under the old beech tree makes us pause and we can already hear the rustling of the wild rench in the valley. We cross the stream over a small wooden bridge and change on the opposite side of the road at the standard "Madgalenenfelsen" into a small path leading uphill to the left. At the next crossroads, it goes uphill to the right to the elevated tank and a nice seating area. We continue on narrow paths through light mixed forests until the first beautiful views of Bad Griesbach come into view. At the location "Über der Sonnhalde", a gentle descent to the water step begins. The zigzag continues downhill, Bad Griesbach always in view, up to the Catholic Church . Here a staircase leads back to the B28 and the starting point.
