To the Pizzo Ruscada

We take the cable car from Centovalli up to Monti di Comino, where our wonderful ridge hike to the 2004 m high Pizzo Ruscada starts. Always along the panoramic ridge, finally via the Ruscada east ridge, we reach the highest point. The great panoramic view, including the four-thousand-metre peaks of the Valais in the west, quickly makes you forget the hardships of the ascent. On the descent we take the easier north ridge under our hiking boots. Steep paths take us past the alpine settlement of Saoree and the mountain village of Lionza to the picturesque village of Verdasio. We return to the valley station of the cable car along the village road.
