The scenic circular hike takes us from Rasa to Pizzo Leone, a magnificent panoramic mountain high above the Centovalli and Lake Maggiore.

We reach the picturesque mountain village of Rasa by cable car from Verdasio. Alternatively, it could only be reached on foot. Because the village, situated on a sunny terrace in the Centovalli, is completely car-free, there is no road leading up to it. But perhaps it is precisely the peace and seclusion that make this place so appealing. We climb from Rasa through shady forests and sunny mountain meadows in the direction of Monti/Termine.
