Walking mainly downhill from the Cuber reservoir to the L’Ofre pass for 360 degree views over to the Bay of Palma and Bay of Alcudia
This is a wonderful walk starting at the Cuber Reservoir before Descending steeply in a series of zig-zags down to Fornalutx. The underfoot conditions are excellent and the signage is good so you are sure to have a pleasant and rewarding walk. The trail consists of dirt tracks to cobbled paving. There are some sections on the road towards the end, but these are mostly quiet and the drivers are used to seeing walkers. There are some steep descents, and the cobbles will be slippery in certain weather conditions, so walking poles are recommended.
Be careful in wet conditions as some of the stony sections can be slippery.
To get to the start point of this walk (parking at Cuber reservoir), you can organize a taxi by phoning Taxi 25 on +34 649 48 84 15, or asking your accommodation to organise one for you. This is payable locally.
