The circular trail leads around the Rehhübel area natural monument and is situated at an altitude of 788 m, is snow-sure, in a quiet winter landscape and sheltered from the wind.

There, ski hikers and cross-country skiers will find trails of 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 kilometres in length. The 8-kilometre trail connects through the forests of Muldenberg to the Kammloipe, one of the longest and snowiest trails in Saxony. Another connecting trail to the Kammloipe begins at the village square (bathing pond) in Muldenberg. When conditions permit, skiing enthusiasts can enjoy the groomed sun trail in the centre of the village (entry at the gymnasium).

Cross-country ski trail from the lower car park, cross-country ski trail house illuminated from Monday to Saturday from nightfall until 20:00 (approx. 2km in one direction).

Turn-by-turn directions
The route runs parallel to the road. The start in Grünbach is the central hikers' car park at the entrance and exit to the village. Up to the P2 car park, the classic and skating routes run separately, then on a wide path with skating in the middle to the turning loop.

On the A 72 Hof-Chemnitz, take the Plauen-Ost exit and drive along the B 169 in the direction of Falkenstein. In Bergen, turn right to Schöneck. In Poppengrün, first turn left to Neustadt, then right again to Grünbach.Parking
There is a large car park at the cross-country skiing house. Seasonal parking permits for the chargeable car parks in Grünbach and Muldenberg (also for the summer season) are available from the Grünbach municipal administration.Coordinates
