Race trail Val Roseg

The race trail into Val Roseg starts at the Cuntschett Cross-country ski centre and first leads over the stone bridge and then up parallel to the classic trail into Val Roseg. After the railway subway, the skating trail branches off to the left. The trail continues up and down until it reaches the turning point at Acla Colani, where you also change to the other side of the valley. Now head back out of the valley, past above the railway station and back to the Cuntschett cross-country ski centre on the marathon route.

Strenuous but rewarding loop to the moor plain of Alp Staz.

 

 

The loop starts at the Lej da Staz restaurant and first leads around the restaurant, before the steep climb in the forest up to Alp Staz begins. At the top, the plain opens up in front of you. Keeping to the left, the trail leads on a large loop, around the plain and on to the Alp, where the descent to St. Moritz begins. Shortly before the first houses of St. Moritz, the trail joins the marathon route. Following this trail through the snow-covered forest, the starting point, the Lej da Staz restaurant, is reached again in about 30 minutes.
