Turn-by-turn directions
The stage from Pontresina to Zuoz follows the original marathon route. Here you can get fit for the big popular run, which takes place (almost) every year on the second weekend in March. The course is mostly on the wrong side of the valley and is therefore easy to master despite its 15.7 km. The trail starts near Pontresina railway station and runs in the direction of Punt Muragl, then you cross the Flaz and follow the trail along the airfield on to Bever. There the trail runs near the Inn River to La Punt and and via Madulain to Zuoz. You can return your cross-country skiing equipment to the cross-country centre - if you have rented it there. Call the Castell for the shuttle from the cross-country centre to the hotel.
