This circular route between the Grimmialp and Zwischenflüh offers various starting points and allows you to put together your own tour, entirely to your liking. The Diemtigtal cross-country ski trails will lead you along mountain streams, through snow-covered forests and over untouched meadows, allowing you to glide weightlessly and rhythmically through the snow.
It's the most challenging terrain in terms of fitness and skiing technique, but scenically also very beautiful with the Blauseeli lake and Würziwald forest.

Turn-by-turn directions
The circular route starts at the Hotel Restaurant Spillgerten (Grimmialp) and leads over Senggi towards the village of Schwenden. Branch off at Buechi and follow the upper trail to the idyllic Blauseeli lake. This will take you to the home of the Grimmimutz forest dwellers where you will ski alongside the Senggibach until you reach the "Würzi". As soon as you reach the turning point in the Würziwald forest, you will have put the most strenuous stretch behind you: the descent will take you back along a second trail to the starting point again. Follow the groomed trail and the turquoise trail markers.
