Takamatsu Art and shopping street walking course

This city walking course takes visitors through the centre of Takamatsu, the capital of Kagawa Prefecture. The course takes in Takamatsu Castle facing the Seto Inland Sea, artworks from the Setouchi International Art Festival held on the islands of the Seto Inland Sea, and a shopping street packed with shops and restaurants. The course finishes at Koto-den Kawaramachi private railway station. As soon as you exit the station, the Takamatsu Symbol Tower, which houses offices and shops, can first be seen on the left, and a plaza spreads out before you. Walk through the Sunport Takamatsu area by the sea, where the sea breeze is pleasant, to the Setoshirube, commonly known as the 'Red Lighthouse'.
