The harbour town Bergen is surrounded by seven hills and is considered to be the gateway to the famous fjord landscape of Norway. Here the famous ships of the Hurtigruten start, which then head north along the coast.
The old town of Bergen is especially worth seeing. After three devastating city fires, a law was passed prohibiting the construction of wooden houses. Accordingly, not many old buildings are preserved anymore - but in the district Bryggen, the bank front was rebuilt true to the original.
This tour leads us to the most beautiful places in the city centre of Bergen. Afterwards we make an excursion to the view mountain Fløyen, which we reach with the funicular Fløibanen Funicular.
