Taste Round the Island Cycle Route

The "Taste" theme was added to the popular Round the Island Cycle Route in 2014 as part of the tourist boards "Bicycle Island" cycle tourism initiative.

"Taste Locations", where special food and drink offers are provided only to those arriving on bikes, will be added to this map very soon.

The route follows some of the Island's quietest country lanes through pretty villages and past historic places. Along the route is a wealth of quality locally produced food and drink establishments for you to choose to stop at.

Bicycle Island recommends you take 3 to four days to complete the route stopping each night at cyclist welcome accredited accommodation.

This particular route starts and finishes at the ferry port in Yarmouth but the route can equally be picked up from the ferry port in Cowes or reached from the Fishbourne or Ryde ferry entry points to the Island.
