A varied and interesting route showcasing much that S Hams has to offer in a short but lumpy ride. Start in a typical S Devon village. Ride to the beautiful coast of Start Bay and along Slapton Sands. Coffee in Torcross. Then visit the lost village of Hallsands, Start Point and Lannacombe Bay. Quick dip in the sea for brave/foolish ones. Lunch at the idiosyncratic Pig's Nose Inn in East Prawle. (Maybe a short there and back ride to Prawle Point.) After lunch, descend to Kingsbridge Estuary and via the hamlets of South Pool and Frogmore before a ridge ride back to E. Allington.
