This is a great circular cycle to the east of Bristol on cycle path and country roads,

This route starts at Mangotsfield Station, it follows the Bristol to Bath cycle path through Warmley, Oldland Common, Bitton, and Saltford. At Newbridge it leaves the cycle path to head through Weston and head steeply up Lansdown Lane to Lansdowne. The return heads through Wick, Doynton, Hinton and Pucklechurch. The final stretch follows the cycle path past Brandy Botton Colliery and Emersons Green on the way back to Mangotsfield Station
