Riders leave the city; travel out to St Ives, Doddington, Huntingdon, Stilton and St Neots before turning back towards the city centre, completing a 201.2km circuit which will finish on Parker's Piece.

The Gold Route
The longer Gold Route circuit will also start on Jesus Green and will shadow part of the route that the Olympic torch will take on its next leg of UK counties tour. Riders will leave the city; travel out to St Ives, Doddington, Huntingdon, Stilton and St Neots before turning back towards the city centre, completing a 201.2km circuit which will finish on Parker's Piece. This longer ride is aimed at the more accomplished independent cyclist who can cycle long distances, have a good bike and are of good health. This is a challenging event for which you will need to undergo some training and preparation. It is an event for sportsmen and women rather than casual cyclists.
