A fun cycling loop starting in Peyia, going through Akoursos and then down towards (but not onto) the coast road. Some serious climbing too.
moderate
Distance 18.1 km
4 parts to this:
1. A straightforward run into/out of Peyia towards Akoursos, ending in a valley where the road briefly loses tarmac.
2. A hard climb to Akoursos - the first half especially
3. A long descent almost to the coast road - gives yours legs a break but makes your hands work!
4. The climb back to Peyia - this route avoids the 'wall of death'.
