To the south of St. Vith, you make your way down deeper into the Our valley through small river meadows and Lommersweiler tunnel. The ruins of Reuland Castle are a worthy and imposing end to this leg of the journey.
Distance 14.7 km
Shortly after the small forested area past the imposing motorway viaduct, you cycle through the sedate little village of Neidingen. Once again, numerous streams and small rivers are your constant companion along the route and provide you with a landscape rich in variety. The part of the route through the tunnel near Lommesweiler puts you in the mood for the picturesque Our valley and is as impressive as it is cool. On the journey towards Hemmeres you will cross the German-Belgian border once more. Back on Belgian territory, the charmingly situated chapel of Weweler appears on the horizon after a while, which sits enthroned high up on the Our hill in Reuland. The ruins of Reuland Castle mark the end of this stage in impressive fashion.
A trip to the chapel of Weweler is worthwhile.
