Wine cycling tour for e-bikers and sporty touring cyclists with a guaranteed far-reaching view of the Moselle valley, the winegrowing villages and the heights of Hunsrück.
Insights into the tour:
The circular tour starts in the district of Kues and first leads into a primeval valley of the Moselle; this is where the Moselle flowed along in primeval times before modelling a different river bed further south. The route then climbs to Brauneberg, high above the Moselle valley, with its famous Brauneberger Juffer vineyard, and continues upstream past other vineyards to Piesport. The way back downstream is on the "Moselradweg" (main route). On the way there are many great views, opportunities to stop for refreshments or a rest in the vineyards, the Moselle villages or on the banks of the Moselle, as well as many sights worth seeing. Highlights include the "Most Beautiful Wine View Moselle 2020", St. Paul's Church in the Urstormtal, the former Siebenborn Monastery, the "Sauerbrunnen" recreational area, a Roman wine press and the "Moselloreley".
