Many of the sights along the route are also Lauhanvuori - Hämeenkangas UNESCO Global Geopark. Hämeenkangas and Kuninkaanlähdet are geosites, the Kankaanpää Art Circle and the architecture of the Niinisalo barracks area are cultural sites, as well as the nationally valuable landscape area of Vihteljärvi in the vicinity of Kuninkaanläht.

Turn-by-turn directions
The route continues strainght along the light traffic route following Niinisalonkatu for about 1.5 km. Then turn right onto Taulunojantie and continue for about 6 km. Then turn right and continue on Palokoskentie for about 2 km. Turn right and continue on Kuninkaanlähteentie for about 5 km. On the right is the caravan park of Kuninkaanlähde, restaurant services and an in-ground swimming pool on the right, Kuninkaanlähde and accommodation services on the left.
From Kuninkaanlähde continue for 4 km to Pansiankulma, where you turn right at the T-junction. Continue on Pansiantie for about 3 km, after 2km a cycle/pedestrian lane is available. From the junction of Kirkkokatu, turn right and follow Kirkkokatu for 1.2 km, you will reach Kankaanpää church. From the church, continue along the street that has become Keskuskatu for about 700 m to Kankaanpää market, where the route ends.

Public transport
Bus connections to Kankaanpää bus station e.g. from Pori. Bicycle transport must be booked in advance.Getting there
Road nr. 44 from the direction of Kauhajoki towards Kankaanpää and according to the signs to the center.
Road nr 44 from the direction of Sastamala towards Kankaanpää and according to the signs to the center.
When arriving from road 3 from the south, route options from the Nokia Kolmenkulma junction towards Pori, from Mouhijärvi towards Suodenniemi and Lavia, and from Lavia towards Kankaanpää. Alternative route along road nr. 3 to Ikaalinen and via Jämijärvi and Niinisalo to Kankaanpää.
Road nr. 3 from the north, drive to Parkano and take to road 23 towards Kankaanpää and according to the signs to the center.
Parking
Free. Parking is not allowed on the marketplace on Thursdays from 8 am to 4 pm, the marketplace is reserved for market sellers at that time.Coordinates
