路线会环绕北京四环骑行一圈，总长约73公里，耗时约5小时左右。同时在路线上会经过北京市内许多的景点和公园。是一条很好的骑行锻炼路线。

在路线的起点附近便是红领巾公园，园内有着16万平方米的水面，地面以儿童游乐场为主，在水面中飘荡着各种各样的游船。之后沿着道路骑行的话便会路过北京工业大学和北京欢乐谷。在这两个之后的景是北京世界花卉大观园，这中间的路程是北京繁华的街道，街道的两边是高大的建筑和商铺等。然后继续骑行在四环线上便会经过莲花池公园和海淀公园，是两座拥有较为悠久历史的公园。接着会经过的是北京奥林匹克公园，路过时可以看到水立方和鸟巢。在最后一段路程上便会路过太阳宫体育休闲公园和朝阳公园，经过着两个公园后终点便在眼前了。
