In spring and autumn millions of migratory birds gather in the region and it is said that there are more seabirds than people.
The picturesque cycleroute lead over sand dunes passing small fishing villages and old towns and to a deserted airfield. Along the route there are many opportunities to stop for a break.
You can plan a good three to four days for the route. You can stay overnight in hotels, pensions or camping sites.
