The Cycle route which runs along the valley of the river Baïse is connected to the Scandibérique, and then to the Canal of the Two Seas. It starts at Barbaste, Lot-et-Garonne, at the foot of the Windmill Towers and the roman bridge where they find the ancient path of the Ténarèze. The route crosses the Story about the land of the young Henri de Navarre, future king Henri IV.

Continue towards the heights of Cassaigne and its castle which houses a rare cuisine of the Sixteenth century, surmounted by a vault in bottom of furnace.By the way, stop at the double lock of Graziac, major work to the striking architecture and discover the know-how of the operators, where, from April to October, the double lock allows boats to cross a vertical drop of water of 4.40 meters.
Walk along the wood of the Monks and reach the plateau, two steps away from the chapel of Flarembel, nestled between castle and vineyard confidential in Armagnac.
Another stop is needed at the cistercian Abbey of Flaran, one of the best preserved in the South-West of France. Its cloister, its gardens, but especially its exhibitions, including the exceptional collection Simonow (masterpieces of the masters of the Sixteenth to the Twentieth century such as Cezanne, Renoir, Matisse, Picasso, Monet, Dalí...), make it a must-visit site !From there, you traverse the old towpath, on "the trail of the Baïse river" that connects the abbey to the port of Valence-sur-Baïse, the last step of the route constructed to date. Take the opportunity to stroll in the heart of this bastide town, perched on its rocky outcrop, which is accessed through the fortified gate of the Hedgehog.
