Kotka-Hamina
Kotka, situated directly by the sea and at the mouth of the Kymijoki river, is famous for its maritime culture. The beautiful harbour is worth a visit not only during the summer days.

Kouvola
Just an hour's drive from Helsinki is the city of Kouvola on the banks of the Kymijoki River. The river, which is one of Finland's largest ones, has a significant influence on the landscape and history of the region.
