The onsen opens one hour before sunrise and remains open in the evening until 10:00 pm. Therefore, bathers can enjoy the sunrise while bathing in the hot springs, and at night they can see the starry sky above their heads.
The baths are divided into two bathhouses, "Acchi no Yu" and "Kocchi no Yu"; "Kocchi no Yu", which opened in 2003, is twice the size of "Acchi no Yu" and offers views of Mount Fuji, the night sky above the Kofu Basin and the sunrise. The source of hot spring water used in the onsen bubbles at a depth of 1500 meters and has a high PH of 10.1, making it effective in smoothing the skin. Mount Fuji can be seen in front of the baths, while the former "Kochi no Yu" offers a relaxing atmosphere with open-air baths made of wood and rocks and an indoor wood-scented bath. Be sure to try both baths!
After the bath, it's best to enjoy the B-class gourmet specialty "Ontamaage" in the lounge. The crispy dough and juicy soft-boiled egg will fill your stomach after the bath.
* In "Yuru Camping", this is the hot spring where Nogu stopped on the way to his first camping trip. After eating "Ontamaage" (fried hot eggs) in the rest room, he falls asleep.

Public transport
Take the express train from Shinjuku Station on the JR Chuo Honsen Line to JR Yamanashi City Station. The journey takes approximately 90 minutes. Then a 10-minute taxi ride.By road
Chuo Expressway: from Katsunuma I.C. or Ichinomiya-Misaka I.C. The journey takes about 25 minutes.
From Kofu City, take National Route 20.
From Kofu City, take National Highway 20. The journey takes about 30 minutes.
From Chichibu City, take National Route 140 (via Gansaka Tunnel). The journey takes about 90 minutes.
