In the village Baosici, in the municipality of Herceg Novi, was opened the museum-house of Captain Miroslav Stumberger, who, is due to submarine service, came first to Boka in 1914. and later remained there to live. Beauties of Baosici and Herceg Novi, made the captains not indifferent, thus, near the place where he came to paint the nature, he bought an old stone house, around which he raised a garden and a small vineyard. He was collecting passionately old objects from Boka and as a dedicated collector, he made a large collection of icons, paintings, carpets, weapons, amphorae, old coins, maps, models of sailing ships, which were also made by himself, that are kept even nowadays in museums. Originally from Slovenia, the old captain made his home in Baosici, which was then bequeathed to the city as a museum, open to visitors.
Fun fact: He was the first commandant of the submarine "Nebojša," today exhibited in Porto Montenegro as an integral part of the permanent setting of the Maritime Heritage Collection. As a captain of the battleship and commander of the South Military Sector based in Kumbor, Miroslav Stumberger retired in 1937 at the age of 45.
