Weimar City Palace
Amongst the works from the Wittenberg workshop on display in the Palace’s Cranach Gallery is the 1522 portrait ‘Martin Luther as Squire George’.
The City Palace is part of the UNESCO World Heritage site ‘Classical Weimar’, a unique reminder of the cultural Weimar Classical Period that reflects the significant role that Weimar played as a spiritual hub during the late 18th and early 19th century.
