Nach einer umfassenden und aufwändigen Renovierung von Frühjahr bis Ende 2015 kann die Kapelle, deren Vorbild die Kirche "Santa Maria ad Nives" in Rom ist, wieder von der Bevölkerung genutzt werden.
Am 08. Mai 2016 fand die feierliche Einweihung dieses schmucken historischen Kleinodes statt.
