View from the glacier wall near Smolniky
From the north to the south, there are two huge, 20 meters high glacial walls. They form the edges of Smolnicki sander. Their sunny hillside with a steep slope is covered with pine forests.
In the 1970s, a dam was planned to be built here, but ecological activists prevented the construction and the plan was dropped.
