Old parish church (administered by the parish Maria Königin, Tel. 06331/16856, Mail: pfarramt.rodalben@bistum-speyer.de), built around 1360, with adjoining Marienplatz, rainbow fountain, sculpture "Grünesputschefrau" and old rectory with one-world-shop. The church is centrally located on the main street of the town of Rodalben, right next to the Marienbrücke.
First parish church in Rodalben, built around 1360. The still preserved Romanesque tower and the vaulted choir, which is decorated with frescoes, bear witness to this. Later expanded in the Gothic style. It is often used as a location for weddings and is managed by the parish Maria Königin (Tel. 06331/16856, Mail: pfarramt.rodalben@bistum-speyer.de). The church is centrally located on the main street of the town of Rodalben, right next to the Marienbrücke in the old town.
Also worth seeing are the neighboring, old rectory with the one-world-shop and the rainbow fountain on Marienplatz with its stream and the sculpture of the "Grünesputschefrau". This is reminiscent of the time when Rodalber women offered their "Grünesputsche" (= soup green) for sale in the market in neighboring Pirmasens. At Marienplatz you can also relax and have a picnic on one of the benches or seating groups. A Wi-Fi hotspot is available.
