Three ore pass entranceways are located along the retaining walls of the heap. A masoned tunnel had been constructed inside the Abraham heap while installing an ore railway in the middle of the 19th century.
Two ore pass entranceways are located east of the hoisting house at the base of the retaining wall and in front of the sorting house. Another ore pass entranceway is situated at the northern edge in close proximity to the ore railway tunnel. An entirely masoned tunnel had been constructed inside the Abraham heap while installing a double tracked ore railway in the middle of the 19th century. The southern mouth of the shaft measures 2.2 m in height and 2.65 m in width. The margins of the mouth masonry merge into a parapet at their top. The mouth of the ore railway tunnel is located at the northern edge of the heap, and is integrated in the retaining wall. It measures 1.95 m in height and 2.6 m and shows similar construction style as the other mouth. The ore pass is located at the northwestern corner of the heap in close proximity to the northern ore railway tunnel mouth.
