The artwork of the Munich pope of light Ingo Maurer is presented here.
There are two showrooms of the famous lighting designer Ingo Maurer: one in Schwabing and one in New York. More than 100 products, prototypes and individual pieces of lamps and lighting systems are exhibited and can be purchased at the Munich location. Those who don't necessarily want to afford a lamp for a few thousand euros are still invited to take a look at the unusual works of art calmly. The designer's most famous lamp is probably "the Bulb" - an oversized light bulb as a table lamp, which is also on display in the showroom and has established itself as a timeless design classic over the time. The stylish atmosphere of the former industrial hall in the creative district of Schwabing creates enough space for inspiration and appreciation for aesthetics. The large water column in the idyllic inner courtyard is even supposed to have a mesmerising effect and has already been exhibited in Milan.
