The Basilica ta’ Pinu is located about 700 m northeast of the village of Gharb on the island of Gozo in Malta.
It was consecrated on 31 August 1932 and elevated to basilica status by Pope Pius XI on 10 August of the same year. The church was built in the neo-Romanesque style and contains six mosaics in the interior, windows in 76 colours and numerous votive offerings. A Stations of the Cross with life-size marble figures leads from the church to the Hügel ta’ Ghammar, where a small chapel and a meeting place form the conclusion.
