San Martino sits on the slopes of Monte Corno, at the foot of which lies Val Concei. The view is well worth the steep ascent!
The little church of San Martino was built in the late 19th century on the site of an old hermitage. Each year, in November, an Alpine feast takes place, with holy Mass and typical lunch with polenta and roulades. S Martin’s Summer is how an Indian Summer is called in Italian. Late Autumn, when the leaves turn red, orange and yellow, is the moment of the year when the woods round San Martino look their best. The Fienili di San Martino, just a short distance away, are small barns. Those wanting to enjoy an even better view can continue along the SAT 456 path to the summit of Monte Corno.

Exit the A22 motorway at Rovereto Sud - Lago di Garda. Follow the SS240 della Val di Ledro, which turns into Via Nuova in Pieve. Further options
Walk by the lake towards the marina, proceed along Via Europa and take the SAT 456 path.
