In the St. Conrad Monastery, the memories of St. Conrad the Brother of the Gates and his veneration merge with the life and work of the Capuchins as pilgrimage chaplains and guardians of the shrine.
In the monastery of St. Conrad, which was partly newly-built and renovated between 2006 and 2008, the memory of St. Conrad the Brother of the Gates and his devotion blend with the life and work of the Capuchins as pilgrimage chaplains and guardians of the shrine. Since its foundation in 1654, the monastery has experienced an eventful building and religious history. After the Franciscans were replaced by the Capuchins in 1802, the Order produced a saint.
Most of the rooms open to the public are marked with a uniform door sign.
