Gipfelsteig

From the Hunsrückhaus, the summit trail leads you to the highest mountain in Rhineland-Palatinate (816 m) as well as on sections of track through the "Hunsrück Hochwald National Park". Wildcats show you the way. Information boards explain the evolutin of the landscape. In addition, historical events and mysterious legends are explained. Hikers can look forward to a wealth of information on the two routes as well as some interesting "stories" about the lively past and present as well as the nature of the heritage head. When the weater ist good you will be rewarded with a magnificent view of the imposing "Windklang sculpture" for the ascent over the ski slope, which als shows in the summer that the winter sports enthusiasts at the Erbeskopf are in good hands.
