In the capital of Bhutan is the famous National Textile Museum which can be visited and is a must-do on a trip to Bhutan.
There you can find out more about the national arts of Bhutan, Thagzo (weaving) and Tshemzo (embroidery). Various, ancient and modern items of clothing can be viewed in the exhibition, especially the beautiful wedding and royal robes are impressive. It is even possible to watch the weavers at work in the academy.
