A trip for those wanting to experience the nature of Kymijoki River in a more diverse way

Kymijoki River, the Amazon of Finland, is a unique destination for a river adventure. It offers foaming rapids and, as if to counterbalance this, peaceful, almost uninhabited riverside nature. Our rafting trip allows you to enjoy both.

Our trip is carried out using inflatable rafts made for rafting and under the guidance of experienced raft guides. The minimum number of participants per raft is 4 people and the maximum is 10. The total capacity is 50 people using 5 rafts.

We will raft through three foaming rapids during the trip. All the rapids are safe for rafting.

Before the trip, we will go over the safety instructions and enjoy coffee brewed over a campfire with a small snack at Koskitila in Kultaa.

The duration of the trip is 1.5 hours and you will be transported back to the starting point once it is over.

Terms

The trip can be organised from April to October, taking into account the weather conditions
Minimum number of participants 4 people and maximum 10 people/raft. Larger groups can be accommodated, but this means that the group must be divided into several rafts.
Minimum age of participants 12 years

Participants must be able to swim

Necessary safety equipment, such as life jackets and helmets. The trip organiser is also prepared with rain gear, but many people do not want to wear it especially during the summer, in which case there is a possibility that you will get wet in the rapids. It is advisable to bring a dry change of clothes.
