The Big Three-wildlife watching overnight tour in Kuhmo, Finland
The Finnish-Russian border zone area with vast wilderness gives the chance to see and photograph the majestic large carnivores of Finland, Brown Bear, Wolf, Wolverine as well as Golden and White tale eagles from one spot. Taking part to a guided overnight tour to the photo hides during the light summer night allows you to see the true kings of taiga forests. It is almost impossible to see these shy, nocturnal creatures while hiking or canoeing in the same forests during your daytime activities.
Daily program in summer time at Kuikka basecamp in Kuhmo:
16.00 dinner at the basecamp (supplementary cost)
17.00-18.00 transfer to the photo hides by cars (coffee/tee , sandwiches, fruits included)
Overnight in the photo hide.
08.00-09.00 return back to basecamp Kuikka
09.00 breakfast (supplementary cost)
During day time 10.-16.00 free time, downloading pictures, sauna / shower, sleeping, hiking near basecamp, slide shows, free coffee or tea during day time.
