We hiked this trail at the end of September 21 and it's a nice trail with nice views on the Matterhorn. The first two lakes are in my opinion the nicest! Definitely for taking pictures of the Matterhorn. We wrote our entire Matterhorn 5 lakes experience and tips down on www.gpxadventures.com under the "outdoor guide" section.
