You can’t tell from the outside, but the “Hüsli” was originally built as a luxury holiday home for Helene Siegfried, a concert singer from Berlin, in 1911. The building became well-known internationally when it appeared in the TV series “Schwarzwaldklinik” as the home of “Professor Dr Brinkmann”.

Das einzige, einem Schriftsteller gewidmete Museum im Kinzigtal ist der "Freihof" in Haslach. In ihm wird das Leben und Werk des großen Chronisten des Schwarzwaldes, des Haslacher Bäckersohnes Heinrich Hansjakob vorgestellt.

Rund um das Städtchen Hausach sind über 60 Gruben, Stollen und Schächte nachgewiesen, in denen Bergleute früher vor allem nach Silber und Blei gesucht und oftmals auch solches gefunden und abgebaut haben.
