Fab ride this. Talybont is a great place to start /finish too. very pretty with plenty of amenities. I've done a few versions of this route several times over the years.
We did an even longer version that took us up to the mines and down to Pontsticill. There is a cafe at the station there which was very welcome! You can then ride along the reservoir and join back on to the route shown here.
