I've ridden this route twice. I always had longer than described travel time. But the route is worth driving. Especially if we slightly modify its course, choosing more alpine roads and singletracks. Unfortunately, this year on May 20, 2023 there was still a lot of snow on the ascent and descent from the Starzeljoch pass. And on the climbing approach to Schrofen Pass - the bridge was not yet installed. I had to climb with an e-bike strapped with climbing tape around my neck.
