Long-distance hikes in Vorpommern

Far away from everyday life The European long-distance hiking trail E9 marked with a blue horizontal stripe connects the coasts of the Atlantic, North Sea and Baltic Sea. It runs through Mecklenburg-Vorpommernfrom, the Bay of Lübeck to the seaside resort of Ahlbeck on the island of Usedom. Mostly directly on the Baltic Sea. Through wind-shaped coastal forests, along quiet bays and dreamy peninsulas.

The German section of the International Coastal Path E9 Atlantic-Baltic runs alternately along the coast and inland without any significant ascents or descents. From Karlshagen, the route covers around 900 km to Charlottenpolder on the Dutch border.

In the middle of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Northern Germany, the Naturparkweg leads from lake to lake, over gentle hills and deep green forests to the Baltic Sea.
