Long-distance hikes in Hamburg

From north to south – once through the Lüneburg Heath.

The German section of the European long-distance hiking trail E1 runs well signposted once across Germany – from Flensburg in the north to Konstanz in the south.

The German section of the International Coastal Path E9 Atlantic-Baltic runs alternately along the coast and inland without any significant ascents or descents. From Karlshagen, the route covers around 900 km to Charlottenpolder on the Dutch border.

The southern day's stage of the Alsterwanderweg leads through the Alstertal valley with its parks and residential areas. Along the Outer and Inner Alster, we make our way through beautiful nature into the heart of the northern metropolis, all the way to the port of Hamburg.

The Schlei-Eider-Elbe hiking trail runs 260 km from Schleswig on the Schlei on the Geest to Hamburg-Blankenese to the Elbe and crosses the Eider near Pahlen in Dithmarschen. In Schleswig as well as in Hamburg-Blankenese, it connects to the European long-distance hiking trail E 1 „North Sea-Lake Constance-Gotthard-Mediterranean“ and at Schleswig to the European long-distance hiking trail E 6 „Baltic Sea-Wakau-Adriatic Sea“.

Mit über 100 km in 7 verschieden langen Tagesetappen führt die Wanderung mit viel Grün rund um den größten Teil Hamburgs.

We hike from Hamburg-Harburg through the middle of the Lüneburger Heide über Walsrode to Verden on the Aller. The villages, historical sights and the natural habitat of the heath promise a unique hiking experience.

Diese Weitwanderung ist an den E1 angelehnt. Sie führt nicht exakt auf dem E1 entlang sondern in Varianten.

Von LAUENBURG geht es über die Geest nach GEESTHACHT und weiter bis BERGEDORF, dann wandern wir weiter durch die Boberger Dünen bis wir in HAMBURG die Alster und den Hauptbahnhof erreicht haben.
