
How do I redeem a voucher?
For your Pro and Pro+ subscription
A voucher can only be redeemed after you log in to our website, not in the app. You will find the field for redeeming your voucher when you select your desired subscription or by clicking on your name in the top right corner and then on "Settings" → "Subscriptions and Payments" → "Redeem Voucher".
Discount voucher
When a discount voucher is redeemed, the price in the purchase view is updated and reduced to correspond with the discounted amount. The discount is only valid for the one year of subscription. The purchase is completed after you have provided your payment information. Unless canceled, the subscription renews automatically after a year, at which point you will be charged the regular price.
Gift voucher
Gift vouchers for 1 year or 30 days of Pro or Pro+ use are also redeemed as described above. In this case you do not need to provide any payment information- the subscription featurs will be simply activated for 1 year or 30 days. The subscription will not automatically renew afterwards, ending instead when the period expires.
Premium routes / Premium route books
First click on "Unlock route" or in the book on "Unlock all routes" → you will find the field "Redeem voucher" below "Payment method" (above the payment methods Paypal and credit card).

Problems when redeeming the voucher
Please check first to see if the voucher is still valid or if you have perhaps mistyped part of the code. You can also try changing your browser or emptying its cache (we recommend Firefox and Chrome when using Outdooractive).
Please note that voucher codes are case-sensitive and that, if you copy and paste the code, you should ensure no additional spaces are accidentally copied.
A voucher cannot be used retrospectively when you have an ongoing subscription. In this case, you will need cancel your subscription at the earliest opportunity and provided the voucher is still active, use it to take out a new subscription. The same applies to the trial month, which will need to be canceled for you to then take out the subscription again using your voucher.
