Excluded Challenges Tracks

To take part in a Challenge, you will need to sign up and record your tracks using the app. There are several reasons why recorded tracks might be excluded.

Possible Reasons

  1. The average speed of your track was too fast to be one of the Challenge's permitted activities (sports).
  2. The maximum speed of your track was too fast to be one of Challenge's permitted activities.
  3. The activity you recorded was not one of the Challenge's permitted activities.
  4. Your track did not meet the required minimum distance (e.g. in kilometers, defined in the rules of the Challenge).
  5. Your track did not meet the required minimum duration or exercise time (e.g. in minutes or hours, defined in the rules of the Challenge).
  6. Your track was outside the challenge's region as defined in the rules.
  7. The track's start and end times were outside the Challenge's timeframe (i.e. you recorded your track before the Challenge started or after it ended).
  8. The start and end times of your track were the same as those of another track (each track only counts once and it appears that the track was duplicated).
  9. There were technical problems recording the track

Possible Solutions

It might be that your track can still count as part of a Challenge despite being initially excluded. There are several options available (depending on the reason your track was considered invalid in the first place) and you can fix certain errors yourself.

In cases 1. and 2.

Your average or maximum speeds were too fast to be one of the selected activities. Could it be that you accidentally continued recording after you got back into the car? If so, you can crop your track accordingly to delete the invalid section. The option to do this can be found in the editing section of the track on the web and in the app.

In case 3.

The activity you recorded was not one of the Challenge's permitted activities. You are able to subsequently change this. To do so, go to the editing section of your track on the web or in the app and change the activity to one that is part of the Challenge.

Unfortunately, there aren't any solutions to help tackle the other issues. If the problem appears to be technical or without obvious reason, please contact our support.

Good to know

Be sure to familiarize yourself with the permitted activities, the region and the duration of the Challenge in order to successfully participate.
