The Centro Nacional de Información Geográfica (CNIG) is a Spanish government agency which, together with the Instituto Geográfico Nacional (IGN), forms the national mapping authority of Spain.
The National Geographic Institute collects and produces digital geodata about Spain. Other tasks of the CNIG include the maintenance of national geodetic networks, the creation and updating of the country's cartography, astronomical observation and research, geophysics and gravimetry, and seismographic and volcanic activity analysis.
The Outdooractive map is based on official geodata. A defined and prepared route network for all activities as well as relevant tourist information from our partners deliver reliable route planning and orientation once you are on site.
