Mountain Refuge

Lovely little chalet overlooking the lake Blanc and easy to reach (40 minute walk). Half board with hearty local meals. Private weekends and evening on request. Booking highly recommended.

Welcome to the Lo Tsamou refuge, (the Chamois in patois). Perched at 2060m, it is ideal for a relaxing stopover in the middle of its flora and fauna. Splendid goal for a walk (1h to 1h15 walk), and starting point for many hikes.

These three small chalets of stone, wood and slate huddled at 2320 m altitude are former alpine chalets fully restored. Centrally located at the Tour of the Vanoise Glaciers and the GR5.

The Fournache Refuge - altitude 2340m - is bordering the Vanoise national park in the valley of Fournache at the foot of the famous Dent Parrachée, overlooking dams Plan d''Amont and Plan d'Aval , it is primarily a stage on the GR5.

The refuge-gite du Suffet in Haute Maurienne Vanoise is an accommodation dedicated to those practicing mountain sports and nature lovers.

A traditional and historic way, in the crossroads of Val-Montjoie, Beaufortain, and valley of the Glaciers. A refuge offering to the walkers a very considerable comfort, and a very wide panorama. Premises for 25 persons during the winter.
